Welcome back! We hope you’ve had time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the summer break.
As a new academic year begins, we want to thank you for all you do to serve your young people and share a few ways we can support you in the months ahead.
Start the Year with Your School Wellbeing Scorecard 📊
Back in 2021, we created the School Wellbeing Scorecard — a tool designed for teachers, by teachers, rooted in lived experience of the real challenges schools face.
Since then, it has helped thousands of educators identify strengths and opportunities to enhance wellbeing provision. On average, schools partnering with us show a 36% improvement in their score within just 3 months.
👉 Take 3 minutes to complete your School Wellbeing Scorecard here.
It’s a powerful way to chart your starting point and shape your wellbeing journey this year.
National Award Recognition🏆
This summer we were honoured to be named Leading Student Wellbeing Teacher Training Course in the UK Enterprise Awards 2025.
This recognition reflects the inspiring children we serve, the brilliant educators we work alongside, and the partners who help us create safe, supportive school environments across the UK and beyond.
We are building a growing global RISE Up community of educators committed to transforming children’s wellbeing — and we’d love for you to join us on this mission.
Welcome to the Team 👋
We’re delighted to welcome Richard Stockings to the Future Action team as our International Consultant.
Richard brings over 30 years of expertise in education, most recently as Vice-Principal for Wellbeing at the prestigious Alice Smith School in Malaysia. His experience in leading whole-school wellbeing approaches on an international stage will be invaluable as we continue to grow the global RISE Up community.
Richard shared:
“Having successfully embedded the Beyond The Game programme at Alice Smith School last academic year and seen the remarkable impact it had on our young people, I can’t wait to join the Future Action team.
My values are so closely aligned, and I’m looking forward to working with colleagues across the world to support you in transforming your children’s mental wellbeing.”
On a personal note, I’ve known Richard for over 20 years. He’s been a great source of guidance in the past, and I’m delighted that we now have the opportunity to work side by side as colleagues — combining our experience to strengthen wellbeing provision for the RISE Up community worldwide.
