Thank You to Our Hero Educators and Partners This Christmas

As the year comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to you—our hero educators and multi-agency partners—for your incredible efforts and unwavering dedication.

Together, you have made a profound impact on children’s mental wellbeing and life chances, and we couldn’t be more grateful for your support.

Reflecting on a Year of Incredible Memories and Giving Thanks

The photos and videos from the blog feature some of our best memories this year, capturing the incredible moments shared with our ever growing RISE Up community.

Over the last few weeks, it has been a joy to deliver small tokens of appreciation to our brilliant RISE Up ambassadors in Liverpool, Norfolk, Manchester, and Malaysia.

Your commitment to creating impactful case studies has been instrumental in inspiring the wider RISE Up community and helping us evidence the difference our programmes make.

This vital work has enabled us to secure funding that will empower even more educators and partners to transform lives in the years ahead.

Growing the RISE Up Global Community

It has been an incredible year as the RISE Up global community has grown dramatically. We have launched new RISE Up programmes in Stoke, Suffolk, Sussex, Wirral, Manchester, and Oxfordshire, while also embarking on three trips to Asia to strengthen our links with the International School Community.

We are delighted to welcome you into this growing RISE Up community—a place where we aim for everyone to feel safe, supported, and able to contribute.

Gratitude for Our Partners

A heartfelt thank you also goes to all our brilliant partners who have funded our programmes, invited us to speak at your conferences and on your podcasts.

Your support has helped us spread the message about the importance of trauma-informed PE, self-care mental wellbeing toolboxes, and movement for mental wellbeing. We deeply appreciate your fantastic support, encouragement and collaboration.

And a special thank you to Dr Liz Durden-Myers and our friends at Scholarly/PE Scholar for all your help publishing our book Time to RISE Up - Supporting Students' Mental Health.

Your expertise and guidance have been invaluable in sharing this resource with educators and partners worldwide.

Early Opportunities in 2025

We are excited to kick off 2025 with early opportunities to connect and collaborate. One of these is the Hertfordshire PE Conference, where we will be hosting workshops on the RISE Up Early Intervention and Trauma-Informed PE programmes.

This is a fantastic chance to explore how these approaches can make a real difference in your school and context.

Looking Ahead

Looking forward, we are so excited about the opportunities 2025 will bring! With new programmes set to expand across England and internationally, we cannot wait to share more details early next year.

Behind the scenes, we are hard at work developing new tools to save time and reduce workload, making it even easier for you to implement the RISE Up programme—allowing you to focus on building meaningful relationships with your young people.

The first action we have taken is to catalogue and title all our impact reports and case studies to save you time finding the ones most applicable to your context.

You can check out our new Impact page on our website here.

Make sure you subscribe to our weekly newsletter here so you are kept informed and don't miss out on the latest wellbeing insights next year.

A Final Note

This marks our final blog for the year, and we will be in touch again when the new term starts in January.

For now, we wish you a fantastic Christmas and a restful holiday season. Thank you for everything you do—it truly makes a world of difference.

With gratitude,
