The Department for Education has recently published its fourth State of the Nation research report on the wellbeing of children and young people. This report provides a comprehensive analysis of trends in mental health and wellbeing over the 2021/22 academic year, a time during which various recovery-focused initiatives were implemented by the government. The report highlights the efforts made by the Department for Education, specifically their education recovery programme, to address and improve the wellbeing of children and young people. It makes for depressing reading, we must create change for our children. Click here to read the report.
